Job Responsibilities:
Strategic
Formulation of regional growth strategies
New business development
Planning and driving initiatives to enhance governance and platform capabilities
Leading and executing regional projects
Financial
To ensure the Bank’s stable and sustainable operations through budget management with regard to systems and facilities in APAC branches
People
Contribute to the engagement & cooperation with POA member and all stakeholders
Facilitate effective communication and collaboration with Japanese-speaking stakeholders to ensure alignment and mutual understanding of regional objectives
Other/ Control
Adherence to Laws and Rules
Job Requirements:
Minimum JLPT N1 Certification (or equivalent business-level Japanese proficiency) to communicate effectively with stakeholders of various divisions in Tokyo Head Office, as the role requires interaction with Japanese speaking stakeholders.
Minimum 7 years experience in the banking industry, including at least 5 years in corporate banking and/or strategic business planning.
Minimum Bachelor Degree qualified
In-depth knowledge of banking regulations and compliance requirements in APAC
Proven track record in new business development and regional project leadership
Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and ensure stable, sustainable operations of banking systems and facilities
Results-oriented, with a track record of leading and executing regional projects to successful completion
Strong organizational and project management skills
