We're looking for an in-house language professional dedicated to producing high-quality translations, providing interpreting support, and using their skills in an international setting.
This is a fixed-term, 12-month opportunity (maternity cover).
As an in-house translator, you will be expected to:
Translate clinical trial/ medical documentation as well as business correspondence and technical documents pertaining to the activities of company departments
Localize and customize translations to meet regulatory requirements
Edit, proofread, and review translated documents
Develop translation templates for routine/standard documentation
Act as an interdepartmental liaison in matters related to the editing and review of translated documents
Interpret at meetings/ conferences, if required
University degree in Foreign Languages (English Philology)/ Linguistics (Translation and/or Interpreting Studies is a plus)
C2 level in English and native Czech
Hands-on experience in English - Czech translation
Proficiency in Microsoft Applications, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Ability to use CAT tools
Attention to detail, ability to provide accurate and complete translations within set timeframes
Medical & healthcare translation experience is a plus
Proficiency in a second foreign language is a plus
Professional training and/ or certification in Translation is a plus
