About the team
We are the Indonesia TikTok Shop by Tokopedia Semi-Consignment team, committed to helping small and medium-sized sellers without extensive e-commerce operation capabilities better succeed on TikTok Shop through operational actions such as managing subsidies, creator matchmaking, and ads.
Roles & Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for the implementation of merchant recruitment strategies: In line with the platform's overall business growth objectives, develop a merchant recruitment plan for local Indonesian merchants, continuously acquire high-quality leads and registered merchants through multiple channels.
2. Expand and operate the local partner ecosystem: Identify and sign high-quality agents, third-party service providers, and tool providers, design joint investment promotion, joint marketing, and offline event plans, enhance project influence, and be responsible for investment promotion results.
3. Connect BPO with the internal sales team to optimize the customer acquisition funnel: Collaborate with the BPO team and internal BD to continuously optimize the SOPs (narrative, frequency, quality assurance, incentives, etc.) of each stage in the "Reach–Interest–Register–Approval" process, improve recruitment efficiency, and ensure that key metrics (such as Interest CR, Register CR, completion rate) are achieved or exceed expectations.
4. Market Insights and Strategy Output: Focus on the local e-commerce ecosystem in Indonesia, regularly produce insights into industry and category opportunities, propose Localization investment promotion and partner strategy recommendations, and provide support for decision-making by headquarters and local teams.
5. Project Management and Cross-Team Collaboration: As the key interface for SEMI/SAP local BD, coordinate with operations, marketing, product, Legal, finance, and regional teams to advance key projects (such as large-scale offline events, category-specific initiatives, and partner co-construction projects) to be implemented on time and with high quality, and be responsible for the results.
Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or above
- 3 years or more of experience in e-commerce / internet BD, channel expansion, or investment promotion, with experience in e-commerce platforms preferred.
- Deeply rooted in the local market of Indonesia, with in-depth understanding of the local merchant ecosystem and service provider ecosystem, possessing a mature network of local merchant/partner relationships.
- Familiar with platform-hosted or half-service business models, has strong business sensitivity to metrics such as GMV growth, commission structure, merchant ROI, and retention, and is able to design attractive cooperation plans from the merchant's perspective.
- Possesses excellent BD expansion and business negotiation capabilities, able to build partnerships from scratch and drive continuous output of joint projects (such as offline investment promotion conferences, training camps, co-construction activities, etc.) through structured project management.
- Fluent Indonesian and English (required), which can be used as languages for daily work and external business communication;
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, capable of efficiently advancing work in cross-cultural and XFN teams, and adaptable to high-intensity, fast-paced, and highly uncertain business environments.
- Highly sensitive to data, capable of analyzing issues, identifying opportunities by integrating key business data, and adjusting strategies and resource allocation accordingly.
