About the Team
The global e-Commerce US operation team aims to deliver high quality products together with a unique customer experience via TikTok. With more than 1 billion loyal users globally, we believe TikTok is an ideal platform to deliver a brand new and better e-commerce experience to our users. We are looking for passionate and talented people to join us to build an e-commerce ecosystem that is innovative, secure and intuitive for our users together.
Responsibilities
- Analyze consumer demand trends and identify key product categories, brands, and price segments with strong growth potential on TikTok Shop.
- Develop product assortment strategies that strengthen platform supply and ensure products align with market demand.
- Partner with merchant strategy teams and industry teams to guide supply development in priority product categories.
- Supported major campaigns and marketing initiatives by identifying high-potential products and category opportunities.
- Conduct data-driven analysis to identify supply gaps and propose targeted initiatives to strengthen product availability and competitiveness.
- Monitor product performance and market trends, and continuously refine assortment strategies to support sustainable growth.
Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Marketing, Data Science, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in e-commerce, marketplace strategy, category management, consulting, retail strategy, or related industries.
- Strong analytical capabilities and experience using data to identify business opportunities.
- Familiarity with consumer trends and retail or e-commerce market dynamics.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in marketplace platforms, retail strategy, consulting, or category management.
- Strong business judgment and structured problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience working with data to support business analysis and strategic planning.
- Self-driven with strong ownership and the ability to adapt in a fast-moving environment.
