Responsibilities
Lead development activities using Node.js within SAP BTP, ensuring high-quality and maintainable code
Conduct code reviews and promote best practices in software development and clean design
Monitor applications, troubleshoot issues, and resolve defects efficiently
Prepare and maintain technical and user documentation
Coordinate team activities, track performance, and support team development
Collaborate with customers and stakeholders, providing technical guidance and delivery insights
Contribute to the set-up and continuous improvement of development processes and CI/CD pipelines
Drive architectural decisions and ensure scalable, future-ready solutions
Requirements
7+ years of experience in SAP-related development, including SAPUI5, BTP, HANA, CAP, and Node.js
Proven experience in a Team Lead role, managing and mentoring teams of 10+ engineers
Strong expertise in Node.js and solid understanding of JavaScript
Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Piper, Webdriver.IO, or similar
Good understanding of cloud architecture and microservices design principles
Familiarity with Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban
Experience or knowledge of SAP BTP, HANA database, and SAP CAP (Java or Node.js)
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
Excellent communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional stakeholders
English proficiency at B2 level or higher
