Key Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain Windows Server and Linux environments (Ubuntu, Red Hat, CentOS).
Configure, troubleshoot, and optimize Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
Administer virtualization platforms: VMware, Hyper-V, Nutanix, and KVM.
Ensure data backup, system updates, and patch management are performed regularly and efficiently.
Monitor server performance, security logs, and ensure compliance with IT policies.
Automate routine system administration tasks using PowerShell or Bash scripting.
Manage server hardware, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of physical servers.
Oversee storage solutions, including SAN , NAS and distributed storage environments.
Perform hardware diagnostics, firmware updates, and resource optimization for Dell, HPE, Lenovo, Cisco or similar server technologies.
Implement and maintain monitoring solutions for server and network infrastructure (Zabbix, Nagios, Prometheus, Grafana, or similar tools).
Generate reports and alerts for system performance, health checks, and security incidents.
Administer IT Service Management (ITSM) tools, including ticketing systems, incident management, problem management, and change management (ServiceNow, Jira Service Desk, or similar).
