We are looking for a self-driven and experienced Store Manager to organise and oversee the daily operations of a PandaMart store in Singapore. The successful candidate will ensure that our operations are well-coordinated and productive. As a Store Manager, your role revolves around setting up and implementing SOPs, and coaching the warehouse team to be operationally efficient.
This role will be based in Singapore and will report to the Operations Manager.
Responsibilities:
Execute the store business plan to optimize sales and profits
Coordinate the end-to-end store inventory processes, from inbound management to stock handling, storing, and order dispatching on a timely basis
Execute and refine company policies, procedures, and guidelines to continuously improve operational efficiency
Routinely supervise staff to ensure all company strategies, directives and procedures are implemented and executed with excellence
Ensure compliance with HR policies and regulatory requirements at store level to maintain a well-coordinated and cohesive organizational structure
Take full accountability in hiring, train, counselling and appraising staff
Allocate manpower resources to ensure optimal efficiency (scheduling)
Responsible for steering the store operations to the agreed SLAs and KPIs
Ensure a hazard-free, safe and healthy working environment, by managing Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) procedures to ensure department compliance with regulations
Ensure periodical stock takes are carried out and noted down accurately
Effectively ensure that the implementation of policies, procedures and work standards are met
Coordinate periodic maintenance of the facilities and escalate any malfunction to the Realty Facility Manager
At least 2 years of proven experience in warehouse management or retail store management
In depth knowledge of operations and customer experience principles (e.g. supply chain, customer service, JIT, Six Sigma etc.)
Knowledge of industry’s local legislation
Working knowledge of performance/operation metrics
Familiar with Warehouse Management Systems or Inventory Management Systems
Self-motivated and able to work independently
