Supplier Program: Obtain, review and approve Supplier programfor the assigned equipment
Quality control & inspections: Manage autonomously inspections at suppliers’ site in accordance with the ITP (inspection testing plan) s, the QCP (quality control plan) and supplier program
Progress Monitoring and Planning: Monitor the progress of assigned suppliers from PO to Delivery and is the Responsible to plan and assign adequately expediting inspectors (external resource) as required.
Supplier Communication and Problem Escalation: Establish solid relation with the suppliers contacts to ensure the OTD and achievement of key intermediary milestones
Tools and process: Insure the accuracy and level of details of the expediting information
Technical High School or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar8+ years’ experience in plant construction or in one of the sub-areas as boiler, steel, apparatus, pipeline constructionNDT qualification at least VT level 2 and welding qualification IWE/EWE certificationAble to read and interpreting supplier Manufacturing fabrication plan and familiar with main international codes such as EN-ISO/ASME-IX/PED.Extensive knowledge to Expedite supplier premises based to real fabrication status compared with supplier manufacturing fabrication plan.Multilingual with professional English and Italian
