About the Role
FindLaw is hiring a Data Engineer (Informatica) to join our Data Services team. This is a great opportunity for an engineer who’s ready to take ownership of data pipelines, learn new tools, and grow in a modern hybrid data environment.
You’ll help design and maintain the pipelines and models that power analytics and reporting across the organization. We work with a diverse stack — Informatica, Pentaho, Snowflake, Postgres, Airflow, MicroStrategy, and Tableau — giving you hands-on exposure across data integration, modeling, and orchestration.

Responsibilities
Build and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using Informatica and Pentaho for Snowflake and Postgres systems
Work closely with analytics and business teams to turn requirements into scalable, reliable data flows
Support data modeling, performance tuning, and architecture improvements across environments
Contribute to process automation, best practices, and documentation to improve team efficiency
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
3–5 years of experience with relational databases (Postgres, Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL)
3–5 years of experience with ETL tools (Informatica preferred)
Solid experience in both on-premise and cloud environments
Familiarity with cloud or MPP databases (Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery)
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Comfortable collaborating across technical and business teams
Good to have
Experience with workflow orchestration (Airflow, Oozie)
Familiarity with BI/reporting tools (Tableau, Looker, MicroStrategy)
Exposure to other ETL tools (Pentaho, DataStage, Apache Hop)
