We are looking for an experienced and skilled Senior ServiceNow Developer to join our team.
The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing ServiceNow solutions, ensuring optimal functionality and alignment with business goals. This position requires deep technical expertise in ServiceNow, a strong understanding of ITSM, and the ability to collaborate with both technical teams and business stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Design and develop custom ServiceNow applications, workflows, and integrations to meet business needs
Configure and customize modules such as ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, or CSM in line with organizational objectives
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather technical and business requirements and align solutions with business strategies
Perform code reviews, ensure best practices, and maintain high code quality standards in the platform
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve platform issues while ensuring minimal downtime for users
Establish and enforce governance processes for the ServiceNow platform, including security policies and access controls
Build, maintain, and improve integrations between ServiceNow and third-party systems or APIs
Optimize performance and scalability of the platform to support organizational growth
Ensure all solutions comply with ServiceNow development standards and industry best practices
Document technical specifications, runbooks, and process flows for ongoing operational support
Mentor junior developers and other team members to elevate technical capabilities across the organization
Requirements
Residence in Ukraine (remote work eligible only for candidates based in Ukraine)
3+ years of experience in ServiceNow development, implementation, and maintenance
Expertise in ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript), workflows, UI/UX customization, and module configurations
Background in ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITOM, or HRSD including deep knowledge of related processes
Familiarity with API integrations, REST, SOAP technologies, or similar tools for seamless platform connectivity
Proficiency in the ServiceNow development lifecycle, SDLC methodologies, and ITIL concepts and applications
Competency in platform security, including user roles, access controls, and instance data protection
Understanding of system architecture and optimization for ensuring scalability and performance
Experience with version control systems or CI/CD tools such as Git or Jenkins to manage development cycles
