Senior Python Engineer

SplitMetrics is a global software company offering an ecosystem of products and services that serve as a growth engine for top mobile-first businesses worldwide.
We’re looking for a Senior Backend Engineer (Python) who will join our team.
What will you do:
Design and build backend services in Python (FastAPI)
Implement async job execution and status tracking (Redis/Celery/Kafka)
Integrate with LLM and services (internal & external)
Ensure stability, observability, and cost-efficient inference
About you:
5+ years Python backend experience
Strong FastAPI experience
Solid PostgreSQL + S3 (or equivalents)
Experience with async task queues (Celery, Redis, Kafka)
Production experience integrating with micro services: long-running jobs, retries, failure handling
Basic observability skills (logging, monitoring, alerting)
Experience in cross-functional teams (frontend, ML)
Experience with AWS infrastructure, Docker, Kubernetes
