Senior Patent Attorney

Key Responsibilities
1. Patent Litigation & Enforcement:
1.1 Manage Brazilian patent litigation and develop strategic enforcement plans.
1.2 Represent the company in patent infringement, nullity, and enforcement actions and defensive actions in Brazilian courts.
1.3 Report the progress and assessment of development of local patent dispute (enforcement & defense& invalidation) to HQ, and align and land the working strategic and actively pursue final prevail to protect the company’s interest.
1.4 Manage external legal resources such as outside counsel, experts, consultants, etc.
2.Licensing
2.1 Digging out local (including Latin Americas) licensing opportunity and feasibility study, and output licensing strategies and work plan.
3.Advisory & Compliance:
3.1 Provide real-time counsel on Brazilian IP law, regulatory shifts, antitrust regulations.
3.2 Mitigate IP risks in Brazil.
3.3 Attending local IP community to convey company’s position.
