What you will do As an Underwriting Analyst within Klarna’s credit decisioning function, you will contribute to building responsible, fair, and efficient credit decisions by combining data-driven insights with underwriting expertise. You will work across product, risk, and regional teams to evolve underwriting policies and support the transition toward a unified global platform. This position plays a key part in optimizing credit strategies that strengthen consumer trust, portfolio performance, and long-term growth. You will translate complex data into clear, actionable improvements that balance risk and business objectives. Who you are • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Data Science, or a related field • 5+ years of experience in consumer credit risk, underwriting, or a related field • Experience in consumer credit risk, underwriting, or credit policy development • Proficiency in SQL and experience working with large datasets • Familiarity with credit bureau data, repayment behavior, and credit risk frameworks • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into business insights • Effective communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly • Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced, evolving environment Awesome to have • Exposure to global credit products or multi-market underwriting strategies • Experience working with credit decisioning systems or policy engines • Understanding of cost optimization strategies related to credit bureau usage Closing Please include a CV in English.
