Director of BD
Role Overview
We are looking for a Director of BD & Partnerships to lead and expand Klein Labs’ global business development function across key business lines, including market making, OTC, treasury solutions, and ventures. This is a high-impact role with direct influence on business growth. You will work closely with the founding team to define and execute global BD strategy, build systems from the ground up, drive strategic partnerships, and lead the team in a fast-paced, high-autonomy environment.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute business development and strategic partnership initiatives across Klein Labs’ core business lines, driving revenue growth and partnership execution.
Build and maintain relationships with exchanges, projects, DAOs, market makers, funds, and other key ecosystem participants.
Design and implement scalable BD systems, including CRM, pipeline management, automation processes, and internal collaboration frameworks.
Manage and expand the global BD team, set clear KPIs, and build a high-performance team culture.
Design tiered partnership models for different types of projects and explore long-term value-accretive cooperation structures.
Represent Klein Labs in major business negotiations, industry events, and key external partnership discussions.
Requirements
Proven and verifiable track record of driving revenue growth, or experience building a mature BD system from the ground up.
Deep understanding of the Web3 ecosystem, tokenomics, and strategic partnership structures.
Strong familiarity with the crypto trading ecosystem and the ability to build trusted long-term relationships with projects, exchanges, and funds.
Strong execution skills, results-oriented thinking, and the ability to build systems that drive real outcomes.
English proficiency sufficient for day-to-day business communication.
At least 2 years of experience in BD, partnerships, or sales; candidates with at least 1 year of crypto industry experience are preferred.
Based in Singapore or Dubai preferred.
Experience in liquidity management, trading services, or related market structure areas is a strong plus.
