Who we're looking for and what you'll be doing (5 Bullet points max):
Prop AMM Senior Smart Contract Engineer / DeFi Protocol Developer (Base Chain)
We are building the next-generation Proprietary AMM (Prop AMM) protocol on the Base chain, aiming to create efficient, low-slippage, market-making liquidity infrastructure that matches the performance experience of Solana Prop AMMs (such as Humidifi, Tessera, etc.).
Job Responsibilities: Responsible for designing and developing the core protocol of the Prop AMM based on Base (EVM), including active pricing curves, market-making logic, and vault liquidity management modules. Integrate Chainlink or other high-frequency oracles to implement real-time price update mechanisms, supporting on-chain parameter adjustments driven by off-chain market maker models. Optimize transaction execution priority and anti-MEV (toxic flow) protection strategies to ensure tight spreads and low slippage. Collaborate with frontend/aggregator teams to achieve seamless routing integration, supporting high-throughput transactions. Conduct contract security audits, Gas optimization, and stress testing, while continuously iterating protocol mechanisms. Research best practices for Solana Prop AMMs and adapt them to the Base ecosystem (considering sequencer features, etc.).
Requirements: Solid Solidity programming experience, familiar with Foundry/Hardhat, proficient in EVM underlying mechanisms (storage slots, Gas optimization, proxy patterns, etc.). Deep understanding of AMM mechanisms (Uniswap V2/V3, Concentrated Liquidity, etc.); experience with Prop AMM, Order Book, or active market-making related projects is preferred. Familiar with oracle integration, MEV protection, flash loan attack defense, and other DeFi security knowledge. Passion for DeFi trends; experience with Solana Prop AMM architecture (such as oracle-driven quoting) is preferred. Good English reading ability to read the latest DeFi papers and open-source code. Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science/Cryptography related fields, with 3+ years of blockchain development experience.
