SAP Technical Engineering Manager (SAP Basis)

We seek an SAP Technical Engineering Manager to lead our expert team in SAP Basis/SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) Administration.

Responsibilities
Lead and support a team of SAP experts, providing direction and overwatching all SAP Basis/SAP BTP operations
Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment across all departments
Craft proposals and prepare statements of work for SAP projects, collaborating closely with IT teams and business stakeholders
Design and implement high-performance technical solutions in SAP Basis/BTP
Manage projects using SAP Activate methodology, encompassing everything from inception to post-production support
Maintain expert-level knowledge in SAP Basis and BTP, ensuring adherence to best practices and overseeing system upgrades, installations and configurations
Administer and optimize SAP landscapes for performance, security and stability
Promptly troubleshoot and resolve SAP-related issues, driving compliance with company policies through regular system audits
Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field
At least 7 years of proven experience in SAP Basis and SAP BTP administration, ideally in a managerial role
Deep-rooted knowledge in SAP system administration, with specific expertise in SAP S/4HANA, SAP HANA and SAP BTP
Expertise in troubleshooting complex technical issues
Outstanding leadership skills accompanied by first-rate communication and interpersonal abilities and a forward-thinking approach to technological innovation
Nice to have
Experience as an SAP Technical Architect
Understanding of SAP S/4HANA transition scenarios
SAP certifications
Practical knowledge and certifications with hyperscalers (Azure, AWS, GCP)
