QA Tester (Web & Mobile, Manual-first, Startup)

LegitGrails is a fashion-tech company that authenticates luxury items (bags, sneakers, accessories) using a combination of human expertise and AI. We work with 500+ brands and process thousands of authentication requests. We are looking for a hands-on QA tester who can quickly understand the product, independently identify risky areas, and ensure high quality before release. This is a manual-first role with a strong focus on speed, ownership, and product thinking.
What you’ll do:
Test core user flows end-to-end (auth, payments, submissions)
Perform exploratory testing (edge cases)
Validate UI implementation vs Figma
Check integrations (analytics, payments, auth, support tools)
Test both web (account.legitgrails.com) and mobile app (LegitGrails)
Report bugs clearly (steps, severity, expected vs actual)
Help define what should be tested (not just execute tasks)
Clear bug reports (with reproduction steps and severity)
Release checklist
Basic smoke test suite (manual or simple automation)
