Shopify’s platform strategy is powered by partnerships. We’re hiring a Product Partnerships Lead to recruit and develop strategic technology partners across DACH, Central, and Eastern Europe. This role will expand merchant choice, support regional product priorities, and help drive merchant success across European markets.
You will build senior relationships with leading technology companies, negotiate complex partnerships, and work cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Marketing, Legal, Finance, and Support to bring integrations and partnership opportunities to market.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain a thriving partner ecosystem through community events.
- Recruit strategic technology partners across DACH, Central, and Eastern Europe.
- Negotiate partnership agreements with senior external stakeholders.
- Assess partners based on merchant impact, product market fit market leadership, product alignment, and go-to-market impact.
- Align partnership priorities with Shopify’s international product roadmap
- Collaborate with partners in order to understand merchant use cases, build integrations, and unlock merchant value through deep understanding of partner value propositions
- Lead cross-functional execution across Product, Engineering, Marketing, Support, Legal, and Finance
- Co-develop strategic partnership roadmaps in order to maximise value for merchants
QUALIFICATIONS
- Understanding of software product integrations and platform APIs
- Based in Poland, the UK or Ireland, with strong in-market presence
- Fluent in English, and either German or Polish; additional European languages are a plus
- Experience building partnerships in commerce, technology, or SaaS in European markets
- Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving, remote environment
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills across cultures
BONUS
- Familiarity with Cross border ecommerce logistics, GDPR and European tax/invoicing requirements
