PHP developer

We are a growing company focused on building an innovative Transportation Management System (TMS) for carriers . Our mission is to streamline operations, enhance logistics efficiency, and provide cutting-edge solutions to the transportation industry. We're looking for a talented and driven Backend PHP Developer to help us build and enhance the core backend systems that power our TMS.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain the backend of our Transportation Management System (TMS) , ensuring it is scalable, reliable, and efficient.
• Design and optimize microservices to support the TMS platform.
• Work with PHP 8 , MySQL , and relevant frameworks to build new features and improve existing functionality.
• Implement RESTful APIs that integrate with frontend and third-party systems.
• Write unit tests using PHPUnit to ensure code quality and robustness.
• Collaborate closely with other developers, product managers, and stakeholders to define project requirements and deliver features.
• Participate in code reviews, share feedback, and follow industry best practices.
• Troubleshoot and optimize backend performance for a smooth user experience.
Technical Requirements:
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in PHP development .
• Strong proficiency with PHP 8 , MySQL , and Redis .
• Experience with both the Yii and Laravel frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) , SOLID principles , and design patterns .
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and Microservices architecture .
• Strong understanding and implementation of Unit Testing (using PHPUnit).
• Familiarity with version control (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
• English language (min. Intermediate) , both written and spoken, for effective communication
Nice to Have:
• Basic knowledge of AWS (S3 bucket, EC2 Instances).
• Experience with JavaScript , HTML , and CSS .
• Familiarity with other cloud platforms or containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
