Swapfiets is Europe’s leading bike subscription company, helping more than 250,000 members get around cities without the hassle of bike ownership. Their People & Culture team is looking for a People Specialist to support HR Operations in the Netherlands and ensure smooth, compliant, and people-focused employee experiences.
What you’ll do:
own HR administration and payroll processes for the Netherlands
act as the go-to expert on Dutch labor law and employment regulations
advise employees and managers on HR policies, legislation, and people-related matters
manage employee relations cases and coordinate with payroll providers, tax authorities, unions, and external partners
improve HR processes, systems, and workflows using HiBob and Remote
lead People Operations activities in the Netherlands and support HR projects
collaborate closely with Finance, Tech, Data, and business stakeholders
What they’re looking for:
fluent Dutch and English
Bachelor’s degree in HR, Law, or a related field
3–5 years of experience in HR Operations or People Administration
strong knowledge of Dutch labor law
proven experience with HR administration and compliance processes
proactive, detail-oriented, and structured approach to work
ability to thrive in a fast-paced international environment
