The On-Site Power Delivery Lead serves as the senior field leader for permanent utility power delivery, high-voltage infrastructure, substation execution, and energization readiness for assigned campuses, buildings, or systems while acting as a coach-player for power delivery personnel across the site organization.
Responsible for directly leading critical power delivery scopes while mentoring teams to improve utility coordination, substation readiness, energization planning, turnover quality, and permanent power transition performance.
Acts as the operational bridge between the On-Site Power Delivery SME and field utility, electrical, commissioning, startup, and operations teams to ensure consistent power delivery standards, execution discipline, and reliable site-wide power readiness.
The On-Site Power Delivery Lead is responsible for leading the safe and disciplined execution of utility power delivery, substation integration, energization, and permanent power transition activities across assigned project scopes. This role serves as the primary onsite leader for power delivery operations, ensuring alignment between construction, commissioning, startup, utility providers, and operations teams during critical project phases.
This position requires strong field leadership, technical execution oversight, and the ability to drive coordination, readiness, and issue resolution in high-impact operational environments.
Key Responsibilities
Lead execution of assigned utility power delivery and energization scopes onsite
Serve as the primary field interface for utility coordination, execution alignment, milestone tracking, and issue escalation
Oversee substation integration, high-voltage interconnections, energization sequencing, and permanent power transitions
Lead readiness validation, turnover coordination, and startup activities for energized systems
Coordinate outages, tie-ins, live power activities, and operational constraints while driving risk mitigation and execution discipline
Validate installation progress, system readiness, and field execution quality during critical project phases
Coordinate across construction, commissioning, controls, startup, utility, and operations teams to maintain execution continuity
Reinforce power delivery standards, energization discipline, and accountability across project teams
Coach, mentor, and develop onsite power delivery personnel while building future field leadership capability
Support SME priorities and continuous improvement initiatives onsite

Participate directly in critical outage, startup, tie-in, and live power activities
Expected Site Presence
75–90% onsite/field engagement during energization, startup, and turnover phases of the project lifecycle
Focus On:

Standardizing utility, substation, and energization practices
Driving site coordination, issue escalation, and execution alignment
Ensuring permanent power readiness, transition stability, and energization discipline

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $120,100 to $251,600 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
