**About the Role**
Uber Eats is looking for an Operations Manager in Mexico. The mission of the Merchant Operations team is to make Uber Eats the preferred delivery platform by enabling reliable, high-quality merchant operations that create great experiences for customers and merchants alike.
In this role, you will design and scale tools, processes, and operational initiatives that help local teams deliver excellent outcomes. You will partner closely with Territory Leads and Account Managers to drive execution, identify opportunities for improvement, and develop a deep understanding of key merchant partners. Your insights and recommendations will help shape mid-term strategies and contribute to a seamless delivery experience.
**What You'll Do**
- Problem Solving: Identify root causes of operational risks and opportunities. Develop multiple actionable solutions, evaluate trade-offs, and recommend the most effective approach.
- Process Optimization: Execute, optimize, and scale core analyses and operational processes across Latin America and other regions as needed. Continuously review performance and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, and scalability.
- Performance Management: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop initiatives that drive sustainable improvements against ambitious goals. Use data and insights to measure impact and inform decision-making.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Commercial, Account Management, and Operations teams to understand challenges and identify opportunities for system and process improvements. Contribute to a culture of operational excellence through collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Team Impact: Work alongside a collaborative and results-oriented team on high-impact initiatives. Take on meaningful challenges with opportunities for visibility, growth, and professional development.
**What You'll Need**
**Basic Qualifications**
- Experience: at least 3 years of professional experience in operations, strategy, consulting, analytics, business operations, or a related field.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Experience using data analysis and interpretation to support strategic decision-making. Comfortable working with large datasets and translating insights into actionable recommendations. Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills, with experience evaluating reports, experiments, processes, or products at scale.
- Execution Excellence: Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize complex initiatives involving multiple stakeholders. Ability to deliver results in a fast-paced, evolving environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Planning & Organization: Experience planning and managing cross-functional projects, including timelines, deliverables, dependencies, and resource coordination.
- Communication: Professional proficiency in Spanish and English. Experience presenting data and insights to a variety of audiences in a clear, engaging, and concise manner.
**Preferred Qualifications**
- Collaboration: Ability to build strong working relationships across teams and functions. Experience working effectively with colleagues from diverse backgrounds, perspectives, and areas of expertise.
- Ability to navigate differing viewpoints constructively and maintain productive partnerships.
- Technical Skills: SQL and Excel skills. Experience with databases, analytics tools, or programming languages such as Python is a plus.
