As a Level Designer, you will play a key part in crafting an immersive world that captivate players and bring our game vision to life. You will collaborate with artists, engineers, and designers to create levels that not only challenge and engage players but also serve the narrative of our game.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, prototype, and build game levels that enhance player experience and story progression
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure coherence between level design and gameplay mechanics
Implement environmental storytelling through clever level layouts and design elements
Utilise player feedback and analytics to iterate on level design for improved gameplay
Integrate art assets and animations into levels while maintaining performance and playability
Participate in playtesting sessions to gather insights and refine levels
Keep abreast of the latest trends in level design and game development
Requirements
Proficiency in level design software such as Unreal Engine
Understanding of 3D modeling and the game development pipeline
Experience with scripting or programming to enhance gameplay interactions
Strong problem-solving skills and an eye for detail
Excellent team collaboration and communication abilities
Knowledge of current gaming trends and a passion for creating exceptional gaming experiences
