Legal Manager

The Legal team is a key enabler of growth and innovation within a highly regulated fintech environment. This area works closely with Product, Finance, Risk, and Executive teams to structure, launch, and scale financial solutions. As a Legal Manager, you will play a critical role in bridging legal expertise with financial strategy, ensuring that complex transactions and products are both compliant and scalable.
The Legal Manager is responsible for:
Leading legal structuring and execution of capital markets transactions (e.g., debt issuances, securitizations, structured finance)
Advising on investment banking-related activities, including fundraising, equity/debt rounds, and strategic partnerships
Ensuring compliance with financial regulations applicable to capital markets and investment activities
Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex financial agreements (term sheets, ISDA agreements, credit facilities, investment contracts)
Supporting the design and launch of financial products tied to lending, payments, or investment platforms
Partnering with Finance and Executive teams on funding strategies and investor relations from a legal standpoint
Managing external counsel and coordinating multi-jurisdictional legal matters when needed
Identifying and mitigating legal and regulatory risks in high-value financial transactions
Monitoring regulatory changes impacting capital markets and fintech ecosystems

12+ years of legal experience with strong exposure to investment banking, capital markets, or structured finance
Background in top-tier law firms, financial institutions, or fintech companies
Proven experience supporting debt/equity transactions, securitizations, or fundraising processes
Strong understanding of financial instruments and market structures
Experience working in cross-functional environments (Legal + Finance + Product)
Business-oriented mindset with the ability to provide practical, risk-balanced solutions
Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills
Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-growth environments
Fluency in English and Spanish is required
