Lead Performance Test Engineer

We are looking for a Lead Performance Test Engineer to be part of our team.
You will play a key role in building an Automated Test Suite as part of our Tech Debt Remediation Program across a variety of Java-based projects. If you have a strong enthusiasm for performance testing and automation, we welcome your application.
Responsibilities
Develop baseline performance testing scripts for Java-based systems
Capture and document baseline performance metrics to evaluate system functionality pre-modernization
Integrate performance testing workflows within CI/CD pipelines for automated validations
Pinpoint performance bottlenecks and deliver actionable recommendations for resolution
Prepare detailed performance test reports to keep stakeholders informed
Collaborate with development teams to align testing efforts with modernization objectives
Maintain and improve upon existing performance testing frameworks and tools
Conduct code reviews to uphold testing best practices
Provide support for diagnosing and solving performance-related issues
Remain informed about emerging trends in performance testing and automation
Requirements
5+ years of experience in performance testing
Proficiency in tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, K6, or similar for performance scripting
Strong ability to analyze and document performance benchmarks
Proficiency in integrating performance testing into CI/CD pipelines with tools such as Jenkins or GitLab
Familiarity with Java applications and associated testing methodologies
Understanding of the software development life cycle and Agile workflows
Fluency in English
