Main duties and responsibilities
• Sales activities to acquire new Tax free merchant. Including negotiating terms and conditions and
concluding contracts.
• Particularly, the role will be to develop the drugstore industry and other specialty retailers.
• After signing the contract, he/she will be responsible for representing the company to the
merchant until the Tax free service is launched.
• Must work collaboratively with other teams like IT team and sales support team.
• After the start of the service, he/she is responsible for giving appropriate instructions to a junior
account manager to increase the satisfaction of the merchant and increase its sales amount.
• Record, and report activities for each account, using the sales force accurately for the above purposes.
Background and Education
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Large Account or Sales Management
• Experience with solution for retailer (like POS, payment services, other IT Service integration) is preferred.
• Preference will be given to candidates with extensive personal networks in the drugstore industry and other retail sectors.
Specific skills and knowledge
• Written and spoken business Japanese a must
• Written and spoken English a bonus
• General understanding of the sales cycle
• Excellent written/verbal communication and presentation skills in Japanese
• Knowledge of retail systems and operations a plus
• Understanding of inbound business
