Andersen is hiring a Java Developer with German skills to build and maintain backend services, APIs, and integrations, contributing to scalable solutions in international enterprise projects.

Responsibilities
Designing, developing, and maintaining backend applications using Java and related frameworks.
Implementing business logic, RESTful APIs, and integrations with internal and external systems.
Writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices and coding standards.
Participating in system design, architecture discussions, and technical decision-making.
Developing and executing unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and reliability.
Troubleshooting, debugging, and optimizing application performance.
Collaborating with frontend developers, QA engineers, and other team members to deliver features.
Participating in code reviews and contributing to continuous improvement of development processes.
Maintaining technical documentation and supporting applications in production environments.
Requirements
Commercial development experience as a Java Developer for 2+ years.
Strong knowledge and experience with Java 11+, Spring, Spring Boot.
Experience with SQL/NoSQL DB.
Confident knowledge and experience with microservice architecture.
Level of English – from Upper-Intermediate and above.
Level of German – from Intermediate+ and above.
Nice to have
Experience with AWS cloud infrastructure.
Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes containerization technology.
Experience with Kafka.
