Position Summary
Sikich LegalTech is seeking an Implementation Consultant to own the successful delivery of LegalTech software implementations for law firms, corporate legal teams, and government agencies.
This role is accountable for turning requirements into working systems. You will lead implementations from discovery through go-live, ensuring solutions are well-designed, properly configured, tested, and ready for real-world use. Success in this role requires comfort operating in ambiguity, the ability to push for clarity, and the judgment to escalate risks early rather than absorb them silently.
Reporting to the Director of LegalTech.
What will you do in this role?
Client Delivery & Ownership
Own end-to-end delivery of LegalTech implementations from requirements through go-live and stabilization
Lead discovery conversations to define scope, requirements, and success criteria
Drive alignment with clients on priorities, tradeoffs, and realistic timelines
Obtain clear requirements sign-off before development or configuration begins
Escalate scope, risk, or resourcing concerns early to avoid downstream issues
Solution Design & Execution
Translate client workflows into system configuration, user stories, and acceptance criteria
Configure and validate LegalTech solutions in collaboration with technical resources
Lead testing and quality assurance to ensure solutions meet functional and usability expectations
Ensure implementations are production-ready prior to launch
Project Coordination & Communication
Maintain clear documentation, notes, and implementation artifacts
Track project progress, risks, and dependencies using Sikich tools
Communicate status, issues, and decisions clearly to clients and internal stakeholders
Track time accurately to support invoicing and forecasting
Continuous Improvement
Contribute to implementation standards, templates, and reusable delivery patterns
Identify recurring issues and recommend improvements to delivery processes
Support Sikich’s reputation as a high-quality, delivery-focused consulting organization
What do you need to succeed in this role?
Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or equivalent practical experience
Proven experience delivering complex software implementations across the full project lifecycle
Strong client-facing communication skills with the ability to drive clarity and alignment
Ability to translate business requirements into structured solutions
Comfortable operating in ambiguous environments and pushing for clear decisions
High attention to detail and ownership mindset
Experience in the legal industry (law firm, corporate legal, or government)
Technical literacy (e.g., understanding formulas, data structures, or simple logic)
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with LegalTech platforms such as case management, document management, or contract management systems
Filevine experience or certification
Familiarity with project management tools and delivery frameworks
In compliance with this state’s pay transparency laws, the midpoint of the salary range for this role is $105,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
