Mise en œuvre des programmes réglementaires mondiaux et locaux en matière de santé et sécurité afin d’assurer la conformité
Relier la stratégie régionale de santé et sécurité aux activités du pays et du site en assurant l’alignement
Veiller à ce que la formation H&S soit conforme aux exigences réglementaires locales et au système HSMS et qu’elle soit menée sur site
•Assurer la mise en œuvre opérationnelle des exigences réglementaires locales et du système HSMS mondial grâce à l’utilisation d’outils d’évaluation mondiaux et de processus d’audit/assurance
• Assurer une intégration efficace des acquisitions en matière de conformité H&S au travers du processus de fusions et d’acquisitions
• Assurer la communication et la gestion des incidents H&S, quasi-accidents, dangers et meilleures pratiques conformément aux attentes du groupe
Identify, plan, recommend and complete H&S programs following the Global H&S strategy and applicable business strategies
Align work with Region/ Sub-Regional and Site H&S Coordinators and MD
Create and develop a regional H&S organization to implement the Regional H&S strategy throughout the country
Develop competency of H&S personnel through best practice sharing and implementation of applicable best practices from internal and external sources
Implement and assess the operational status of regional policies and country specific standards to assure compliance
Ensure audits are conducted to assess implementation of H&S Programs and legal compliance with country specific standards regarding Health, Safety and the Environment.
Provide H&S support to sites and functions (e.g. Purchasing) during projects; (e.g. during site expansions, new construction, new equipment purchases, new processes etc.)
Ensure timely reporting of H&S relevant items including incidents, near misses, hazards and KPIs within the country using Crystal
Ensure country implementation of SGS wide H&S activities including Safe Start, Stellar, Safety Month, Quarterly Campaigns, Best Practice Sharing, SGS Rules for Life, Stop Work Authority, BBS etc. and strategic planning
Provide Health, Safety and Environmental technical guidance to businesses and and country personnel to assure compliance with HSMS and Country regulatory requirements at the site level.
Additional tasks can be assigned to the job holder to support the overall H&S strategy
Bachelors Degree or equivalent in an HSE related field
Minimum of 10 years experience in HSE
HSE certification preferred
Ability to understand and explain technical (HSE specific) topics for all levels of personnel
Ability to understand the Country and site contributions to Regional H&S Performance and capability to use existing tools; prioritizing risks and influencing factors
Ability to manage a remote team
Ability to influence without direct reporting lines
Ability to evaluate the accuracy of root cause analysis and the effectiveness of proposed solutions
Sufficient knowledge of English to communicate with the Regional H&S Manager and to understand Global H&S Communications
