Andersen is hiring a Go Developer for a project developing a scalable vehicle branding platform and automating business workflows across mobility operations.
The customer is a global technology company developing a large-scale digital platform that connects millions of users through a mobile application offering various on-demand services. The platform operates in multiple international markets and requires scalable, high-load systems, real-time data processing, and cloud-based infrastructure to support its growing ecosystem of digital products.
The project is focused on developing an end-to-end vehicle branding management platform. It automates agency coordination, driver verification, compliance checks, payment tracking, and vehicle and driver classification throughout the full branding lifecycle.
Responsibilities
Developing and maintaining backend services, implementing new features, and improving existing code according to business needs.
Conducting technical research and collaborating within the team to deliver efficient solutions to technical problems.
Participating in task and coding reviews and contributing to technical discussions.
Writing clean, effective, and maintainable code based on company standards.
Writing automated tests and documentation.
Supporting the backend services lifecycle, including delivery, monitoring, and support in the production environment.
Requirements
Commercial backend engineering, with experience in the Go programming language and an understanding of its key components. Solid grasp of foundational programming concepts for 3+ years.
Strong SQL knowledge, including designing database schemas, using indexes, and optimising queries.
Experience with key-value data stores (Redis).
Experience with synchronous (HTTP, gRPC) and asynchronous (Kafka, RabbitMQ) inter-service communication.
Clear understanding of how client-side and server-side applications interact, and of key microservice architecture concepts.
Experience with application monitoring, including gathering basic metrics and logs.
A basic understanding of container-based development and CI/CD pipelines.
Ability to write testable code with unit and integration test coverage.
Git proficiency (branching, PRs, code review workflows).
Experience with collaboration tools (Jira, Azure DevOps).
An interest in new technologies, a collaborative spirit, and a drive to continuously develop your skills.
Level of English – from Intermediate+ and above.
Nice to have
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes (or analogues), and cloud infrastructure (AWS or similar).
Experience with event-driven architectures (Kafka, NATS, RabbitMQ).
Familiarity with observability tooling beyond basic metrics: dashboards and distributed tracing.
Experience with performance profiling of Go services (pprof, trace).
Experience using AI-assisted development tools (GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude) to accelerate coding, testing, and code review workflows.
