Andersen is hiring a Full Stack QA Engineer for a project developing a travel platform and ensuring quality, reliability, and seamless integration of digital services.
The customer is a technology-driven company in the travel sector, providing a comprehensive booking and procurement platform for industry professionals. Its solutions support large transaction volumes, integrate with a wide network of partners, and offer tools that streamline operations and enhance productivity. Focused on innovation and scalability, the customer continues to expand its ecosystem, strengthen partnerships, and improve data accuracy to deliver a modern digital infrastructure for the travel value chain.
The project is focused on developing a unified travel distribution platform that integrates offers from multiple suppliers and aggregators through external APIs. It includes ensuring reliable booking workflows, accurate data processing, and seamless interoperability between partner systems and internal travel services.
The position assumes 13 to 21 CET work schedule.
Responsibilities
Designing and maintaining automation framework using Playwright (TypeScript) and Postman
Implementing data-driven testing approaches, including dynamic test data generation and validation for multiple datasets.
Building and managing CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins) for automated test execution and reporting.
Performing API testing (status codes, schemas, CRUD operations) and handling dependencies using mocking techniques.
Scaling test frameworks from hundreds to thousands of tests, optimizing parallel execution and resource management.
Conducting manual testing (including regression and impact analysis) to complement automation, especially for new features and edge cases.
Working with complex systems having core generic code and client-specific customizations, ensuring integration testing.
Writing SQL queries for database validation (joins, data transformation) and collaborating with cross-functional teams in agile environments.
Requirements
Hands-on experience in both manual and automated testing for 4+ years.
Solid expertise in API testing using Postman.
Strong experience with test automation using Playwright + TypeScript.
Ability to design, maintain, and scale test automation frameworks (from hundreds to thousands of tests).
Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins) for automated test execution.
Strong SQL skills for database validation (joins, data transformation).
Experience with data-driven testing approaches.
Experience with regression testing and impact analysis to determine optimal test scope.
Experience working with complex systems (core platform with multiple client-specific customizations).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including logical reasoning.
Familiarity with AI-powered testing tools and approaches.
Level of English – from Intermediate+ and above.
Nice to have
Certificates.
Familiarity with Selenium.
Experience with cross-browser testing.
Knowledge of mocking techniques for API testing.
Experience with AI/ML-based testing tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot).
Background in testing monolithic architectures transitioning to microservices.
