At Booking.com, data drives decisions and enables better, faster, and more reliable business outcomes. Within FP&A, digital reporting and analytics capabilities are becoming increasingly important to modernize reporting, improve self-service, strengthen metric consistency, and enable trusted insights through scalable data products and reporting solutions.
Job Summary
As FP&A Digital Capability Enablement Lead, you will lead the strategy, prioritization, adoption, and delivery of digital reporting products and analytics capabilities for FP&A. This is a role at the intersection of finance, reporting, data, and technology, combining business translation, product thinking, change leadership, and people leadership.
You will partner across FP&A, Data & Analytics, Central Tech, and other stakeholders to translate business needs into clear roadmaps and scalable solutions, while ensuring those solutions are adopted, embedded, and delivering measurable value. The successful candidate will combine strong FP&A and business acumen with a credible technology background and the ability to diffuse new capabilities across teams through influence, coaching, and structured change management.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy and roadmap
Define and maintain the FP&A digital reporting and capability diffusion roadmap in line with business priorities, including management reporting, self-service analytics, reporting excellence, and future-ready insight generation.
Translate FP&A and business requirements into actionable reporting, analytics, and technology initiatives with clear outcomes and success measures.
Prioritize a balanced portfolio of BAU improvements, quick wins, strategic projects, and long-term capability building.
Delivery and product leadership
Lead end-to-end delivery of reporting and analytics solutions, from requirements gathering and solution design through testing, release, adoption, and operational stabilization.
Ensure solutions are reliable, scalable, secure, and aligned to business and control requirements, including critical and SOX-relevant reporting where applicable.
Partner closely with engineering, data, product, and architecture stakeholders to align solutions to the right tooling, architecture, and governance standards.
Capability diffusion and adoption
Design and execute adoption strategies that ensure new reporting tools, dashboards, semantic models, and self-service capabilities are not only launched but meaningfully used by FP&A teams.
Act as the finance-side interpreter between business users and technical teams, translating complex concepts in both directions and ensuring solutions stay anchored in real decision-making needs.
Build credibility and value realization through usage tracking, feedback loops, business validation, and linking outputs to efficiency gains and better decisions.
Data literacy and change leadership
Coach FP&A teams in the use of digital tools, self-service platforms, and data products, helping raise data literacy and confidence through embedded enablement rather than standalone training.
Apply structured change management and strong storytelling to drive engagement, reduce resistance, and create momentum behind FP&A transformation.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement, data-centric decision-making, and pragmatic experimentation across finance.
Stakeholder and people leadership
Serve as a key contact for senior stakeholders on roadmap, progress, risks, trade-offs, adoption, and value realization.
Lead and develop a team of data analysts and analytics experts, setting a high bar for ownership, collaboration, quality, and execution.
Influence across functions and levels, bringing together business, finance, and technical stakeholders around shared priorities and outcomes.
Qualifications & Skills
Education
Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
Experience
8 + years of relevant experience across FP&A, finance transformation, analytics, reporting, data, or finance technology environments.
Experience leading teams and delivering complex cross-functional initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
Demonstrated success working with or within Data & Analytics, IT, product, or business-led technology teams.
Experience in finance reporting, business intelligence, self-service analytics, and digital capability enablement.
Functional and technical capabilities
Strong understanding of FP&A processes, management reporting, planning cycles, and business performance analysis.
Strong product and delivery mindset, with the ability to define scope, milestones, risks, and measurable outcomes.
Good understanding of modern data and reporting stacks, including data pipelines, cloud data platforms, semantic layers, dashboarding tools, and self-service analytics solutions.
Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and technical concepts into clear business narratives.
Strong stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills, including the ability to navigate resistance and align diverse audiences.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to simplify complexity into practical actions and decisions.
