BHFT is a proprietary algorithmic trading firm. Our team manages the full trading cycle, from software development to creating and coding strategies and algorithms.
Our trading operations cover key exchanges. The firm trades across a broad range of asset classes, including equities, equity derivatives, options, commodity futures, rates futures, etc. We employ a diverse and growing array of algorithmic trading strategies, utilizing both HFT and MFT approaches.
We’ve got a team of 200+ professionals, with a strong emphasis on technology. Our employees are located all around the world, from the United States to Hong Kong. Although we maintain office spaces, we currently operate as a 100% remote organization.
We're building a centralized quant research team and need an execution quant to own execution quality end-to-end. This is a ground-floor opportunity, you'll establish reporting infrastructure, develop signals that cut trading costs
Analyze execution reports to identify poor trades and execution quality issuesBuild signals to improve execution performance, covering order-specific metrics and toxicity analysisEstablish execution reporting infrastructure from the ground upPerform low-latency order book analysis to optimize execution across global marketsContinuously review execution data to uncover areas of improvementCollaborate with trading teams and data engineering to improve infrastructure and execution controlsPre- and post-trade transaction cost analysis (TCA) to benchmark execution performance and identify cost reduction opportunities.
Strong command of execution signals and low-latency order book analysisProven experience building execution modelsBackground in prop trading ideally in equities or currencies (trading side, not risk) futures also consideredProficiency in Python and at least one low-level language (Rust, C++, or Java)Degree in physics, math, statistics, econometrics, or computer scienceExperience at growth-stage firmsBuilder mentality: comfortable establishing infrastructure Willing to work remotely with East Coast US–Singapore time zone alignment
