MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Safe and efficient transportation of IRC staff and materials
Care and maintenance of IRC vehicles and their accessories
Professional representation of IRC
Strict adherence to IRC vehicle rules and procedures, including mandatory seatbelt use by all passengers
Daily vehicle inspections
Accurate completion of the vehicle logbook
Keeping the vehicle clean, fueled, and mechanically sound
Inspection and servicing of all vehicle accessories
Reporting incomplete inspections, insurance renewals, or any defects or issues to the supervisor
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education: Complete secondary education; vocational or technical education
Work experience: Minimum two years of professional driving experience; confident driving skills with manual transmission vehicles
Required skills and abilities:
Valid Category B driver’s license
No significant traffic violations or road-safety-related convictions
Basic English is highly desirable
Ability to pass the IRC driving test for manual transmission
Basic computer skills
WORK ENVIRONMENT AND OTHER RELEVANT INFORMATION
This position requires full-time work in the office
Business travel may account for up to 30% of working time
Occasional weekend work may be required
