Andersen is hiring a Delivery Manager for a project modernizing financial systems, optimizing operational processes, and supporting digital transformation initiatives.
The customer is a UK-based financial services provider specializing in digital banking solutions. Operating on a fully cloud-based platform, the company offers a range of innovative products, including savings accounts, loans, and mortgages, designed to cater to specific customer needs. With a strong focus on simplicity, agility, and customer-centric design, they aim to modernize the banking experience. The company is regulated by the UK’s financial authorities and has earned recognition for its innovative approach in the financial services sector.
The project is focused on modernizing and consolidating financial crime prevention processes by migrating to a unified strategic platform. It includes integrating new solutions, optimizing operational processes, and improving scalability through close collaboration across technical and business teams.
Responsibilities
Leading delivery activities within a FinCrime transformation program (implemented by vendors and internal Bank's development teams).
Coordinating cross-functional teams including engineering, architecture, QA, Business analysts and external vendors.
Driving enablement of migration from the currently used tools to the new selected strategic platform.
Managing project timelines, dependencies, risks, and delivery milestones.
Keeping technical teams and business stakeholders on the same page.
Tracking progress, identifying blockers, and proactively escalating issues when required.
Supporting governance, reporting, and stakeholder management activities.
Preparing and driving Steering Committee meetings when Senior Mgmt decisions are required.
Ensuring alignment between technical delivery and regulatory/compliance expectations.
Coordinating release planning, testing phases, and production rollout activities.
Helping improve delivery processes, transparency, and cross-team collaboration.
Requirements
Strong experience as a Classical PMP Project Management within enterprise technology environments for 4+ years.
Proven experience managing complex transformation or migration programs with many moving parts and cross-dependencies.
Experience working within Financial Services, Banking, FinTech, or FinCrime domains.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Experience coordinating distributed engineering and vendor teams.
Solid understanding of software delivery lifecycle and IT Project Management.
Ability to manage multiple workstreams in fast-paced environments.
Experience managing risks, dependencies, and escalations.
Strong organizational and planning skills.
Experience working closely with senior business and technical stakeholders.
Level of English – from Upper-Intermediate.
Nice to have
PMP Certified or similar.
Previous experience with FinCrime, AML, KYC, Fraud Prevention, or Compliance platforms.
Experience working with Risk Narrative or similar platforms.
Exposure to large-scale platform consolidation or vendor/tools/components replacement initiatives.
Familiarity with cloud-based architectures and modern enterprise platforms.
Experience within regulated financial environments.
