Overview
DCGS-MC, in compliance with the DCGS Family of Systems (FoS) concept, is a service-level effort to migrate select United States Marine Corps (USMC) Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) processing and exploitation capabilities into a single integrated hardware and software baseline. The end system will consist of scalable, functional capability sets providing All-Source and Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT) processing, exploitation, and dissemination capability to support USMC intelligence analysts across the Marine Air-Ground Task Force (MAGTF), with the goals of increasing the discoverability, accessibility, and comprehension of organic and internal ISR data through a scalable and standards-based system architecture.
Responsibilities
The DCGS-MC Test Analyst will assist with functional requirements-based testing and integration testing.
Analyze functional requirements, prepare test steps, and test cases in support of DCGS-MC systems in accordance with software testing practices outlined in IEEE/EIA 12207.
Assist in the development of documentation, such as Test Readiness Reviews (TRR's), Test Plans, and Test Reports.
Report and track software defects as a result of formal testing.
Qualifications
High School diploma or GED.
Six (6) years of Computerized System experience, to include: Design, Development, Test and Evaluation, Network Protocols, LAN administration fundamentals, and UNIX and Windows-based operating systems.
Demonstrated experience with a C4ISR Program of Record (PoR) such as DCGS-MC All Source, DCGS-MC GEOINT, or DCGS-MC SIGINT. Experience may be achieved simultaneously.
Background in Software Testing with strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
Ability and willingness to listen and take direction well, and the ability to work both independently and within a team environment.
Security + CE Certification required within 60 days of employment.
Individual shall be working towards the relevant certifications within one and a half years after assuming duties:
Professional Software Engineering Master (PSEM)/ Certified Software Development Professional (CSDP) or with COR approval complete a vendor/platform specific certification: Microsoft role-based certifications, Microsoft Certified Application Developer (MCAD), Microsoft Certified Database Administrator (MCDBA), Red Hat Certification Program (RHCP), CISCO Certified Network Professional (CCNP), CISCO Certified Design Professional (CCDP), Oracle Certified Professional (OCP), VMWare Certified Professional (VCP), Cloud certifications, etc.
Active Secret Clearance walking through the door
Preferred Qualifications
Prior Marine Corps system experience with an emphasis on All-Source and C4I, and Automated Testing experience.
Familiar with (JIRA, JAMA, CMPro). Experience with VMware, Linux, Active Directory, and Host Based Security System (HBSS) is a plus.
