Job Description:
Customer Service Advisor
Location: Milton Keynes or Crick
This role follows a hybrid working pattern, with 3 days per week based in either our Milton Keynes or Crick office. Candidates should live within a reasonable commuting distance of their chosen location.
About the Job
We’re currently looking for a customer-focused Customer Service Advisor to join our team and help deliver a smooth, positive experience for our customers. In this role, you’ll act as a key point of contact - resolving queries, providing the right solutions, and keeping things moving efficiently.
This opportunity would suit someone from a retail or similar customer-facing background who is ready to take the next step into an office-based role, within a stable and supportive team at the heart of the business.
What your role as a Customer Service Advisor will involve:
Acting as a key point of contact for customers, supporting queries via phone and email
Managing queries in line with departmental SLAs, ensuring all requests are handled within agreed timeframes
Issues returns and requests in line with company and vendor guidelines
Supporting with logistics and order-related queries, ensuring everything runs smoothly
Taking ownership of queries and seeing them through to completion
Working closely with other teams to find the best outcome for the customer
Keeping customers updated and delivering a positive, consistent experience
To set you up for success, we are looking for the following skills and experience
Previous experience in a customer-facing, logistics, retail or similar role
Experience using ticketing systems, or the ability to quickly learn new systems
Excellent communication skills, both over the phone and face to face
Good organisation and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks
Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word and Excel)
A willingness to learn, take initiative, and contribute to continuous improvements
