What you will do As a Business Developer in our Partner Success Team in Lisbon, you will build, own and execute joint business plans with strategic partners to drive mutual growth, product adoption and long-term commercial success. You will identify and prioritize growth opportunities across existing and new accounts, leveraging data, market insights and performance analysis. Acting as the commercial owner for partner initiatives, you will collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, Analytics and Delivery teams to ensure clear ownership, aligned timelines, measurable KPIs and successful go-to-market execution. You will shape value propositions, pitch Klarna’s multi-product solutions, support deal execution and unlock new business opportunities. Through strong executive-level relationships and data-driven performance monitoring, you will continuously optimize partner outcomes, lead Quarterly Business Reviews, and ensure initiatives are delivered on time and with a consistently high merchant experience. Who you are • 4-5 years of experience in Business Development, Enterprise Sales or Strategic Partnerships within technology, fintech, payments or e-commerce • Proven track record of negotiating and closing complex commercial agreements with strategic enterprise-level merchants • Strong commercial acumen with the capacity to identify growth opportunities and translate data-driven insights into actionable joint business plans • Experience managing and expanding a portfolio of strategic accounts to drive long-term commercial success and product adoption • Demonstrated track record of driving mutual revenue growth and measurable KPIs within existing partnerships • Strong ability to engage and influence executive-level stakeholders and manage senior relationships effectively • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and ensure aligned timelines • Commercially minded with the ability to interpret performance data and translate it into initiatives that optimize partner outcomes • Entrepreneurial mindset with a bias for action; you take initiative to unlock new business opportunities, adapt quickly, and are consistently motivated by results • Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills • Fluency in English and Portuguese, both written and spoken Awesome to have Experience selling multi-product or platform-based solutions Background in payments, fintech, or digital commerce solutions. Experience shaping go-to-market strategies or product launches with partners Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g. Salesforce) and operational onboarding processes Experience working with AI tools for sales, including LLM-based solutions, vibe coding tools, or Cursor.
