What you will do You will drive Klarna’s enterprise partnerships across the DACH region, owning a portfolio of top-tier merchants with hundreds of millions in shared GMV. This is a true 50/50 hunter-farmer role with a strongly consultative selling style: you will actively build your own pipeline and close new enterprise deals, while at the same time growing and protecting our most strategic live merchant relationships. This role doesn’t start with the pitch. It starts with the work before the pitch - digging into the data, uncovering the insights, and building the commercial case that turns into a compelling story for the partner. The same applies after meetings: tight follow-through, clear next steps, and disciplined commercial management. Preparation and follow-through are where deals are actually won. For our established partners, you will go beyond account management. You will proactively uncover upsell and expansion opportunities — using data and performance insights to spot where we can grow, then turning those into commercial conversations and closed deals. You will own deals and partnerships end-to-end - from first insight through discovery, commercial structuring, closure, and long-term expansion. You will independently manage Director and VP-level relationships on the merchant side and engage C-level executives alongside Klarna leadership. Who you are • 5+ years of experience in Business Development, Enterprise Sales, or Account Management (3+ years considered in exceptional cases) • Sales-first mindset. You’re a closer at heart - you use data and insights as ammunition to win deals, not as an end in itself • Proven hunter and farmer- track record of both closing new enterprise logos and driving growth on established partnerships through upsell, not just renewals • Consultative seller. You don’t just pitch - you create the insight, build the case with data, and bring a point of view that earns the partner’s attention • Strong ability to build commercial cases from data - pulling numbers, framing the story, and defending the assumptions in front of senior stakeholders • AI-first mentality - you actively use AI tools to research, prepare, draft, and analyze faster and sharper • Disciplined on preparation and follow-through - you treat both as core craft, not admin overhead • Strong ability to engage and manage senior stakeholders, including Director and VP level independently, and contribute meaningfully in C-level conversations • Solid understanding of e-commerce, payments, fintech, retail, or marketplaces. Strong commercial track record from media or marketing agency sales into enterprise brands also welcome • German fluent (required) and English fluent - you will sell and negotiate in both. Ability to present confidently in German as well as English is a strong plus • Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, high-impact environment - you don’t need a playbook handed to you, you build it Awesome to have • Direct experience managing partnerships at the hundreds of millions GMV scale • Background in enterprise sales with a strong analytical or consultative edge • Familiarity with AI-driven sales tools or advanced CRM and analytics platforms • Experience working in international and cross-functional environments • Previous exposure to fintech, BNPL, or payment solutions Please include a CV in English.
