Biosensor Engineer (Contingent)

Support the development, integration, and testing of wearable and biosensor technologies for DoD applicationsFocus on physiological monitoring systems, sensor integration, and human performance applications in operational environmentsEvaluate and integrate wearable and biosensor technologies Support development and testing of physiological monitoring systems Conduct analysis of sensor performance and data outputs Support prototype development and validation activities Assist with transition of technologies to operational use Other duties as assigned
This position is contingent upon contract award.Requirements
Education/Training:
Bachelor’s Degree in relevant engineering or science discipline required
Experience:
5+ years of professional experience in the required task area Experience with wearable devices, bionsensors, or physiological data requiredExperience in test, validation, or lab environments requiredExperience in regulated environments (FDA, ISO, ASTM) preferredKnowledge of human performance or medical systems preferredDoD or research lab experience preferred
Security:
Must be a US citizenActive Top Secret clearance required
Physical Requirements:
Able to occasionally reach with hands and armsProlonged periods of computer screen use, while sitting or standing at a deskAdhere to safety protocols when in work areas requiring use of PPE (e.g. eyewear, gloves, masks, hearing protection, steel toed shoes, etc.)Able to safely lift and carry up to 20 pounds at a timeBenefits

Salary: $115,000 - 130,000
