Job Summary
Perform electromechanical production subassembly and assembly operations of a repetitive nature to build up and assemble units of moderate complexity.
Essential FunctionsOperate basic electronic test equipment such as volt meters, Hipot and leakage machine
Identify and selects components to be integrated into subassembly and assembly units
Assembles and/ or installs various electrical and/or mechanical components where operations and sequences are specified by established documentation.
May perform routine tasks in preparation for assembly such as cutting wire to specified size, stripping, tinning, or bending wire parts, wiring, and fastening terminal connections.
May operate automatic and semiautomatic assembly equipment
Provide training for less senior staff
Required/Preferred Education and ExperienceHigh School Trade School Graduate or equivalent required
1-3 years Generally, 1-3 years of related experience required and
QSR experience a plus preferred
IPC Soldering Certification a plus Preferred
Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesMust be able to read and understand assembly documentation.
Must be able to use small hand tools such as soldering irons, wire strippers, crimpers, wrenches, screwdrivers and pliers.
Must be familiar with general computer operation.
Physical DemandsMust be able to lift 35 pounds

The hourly pay rate for this position is:
$18.00 to $18.00
