Application Specialist

Ensuring the uninterupted operation of the application landscape at ZOLL CMS EMEA and the respective country the position was filled in.Responsibilities:
Administration, installation, configuration, and support of server-side applications based on Microsoft Server 2012 and later across multiple European locations
Ensuring stable operations through troubleshooting, root cause analysis, problem resolution, process optimization, and application monitoring
Planning, coordinating, and independently managing IT and software projects within the IT Application Team from initiation to completion
Participating in requirements analysis for software requests and contributing to the implementation and further development of new software solutions
Coordinating internal IT resources, business departments, external service providers, and software vendors on all application-related matters
Deploying updates, hotfixes, and software releases in coordination with relevant departments and external partners
Installation, configuration, and administration of client systems across various European countries
Maintenance and support of the Cisco telephony system
Providing 3rd-level IT end-user support for European locations via phone, remote access, and email
Analyzing technical issues and delivering efficient, sustainable solutions to ensure minimal disruption to business operations
Communicating clearly and effectively with users and stakeholders to foster collaboration and avoid misunderstandings
Requirements:
Completed training as an IT specialist or a degree in business informatics
Experience with System-/ and Database integration (authorization, authentication, VPN)
Experience with System Architecture and Scripting (Python, Powershell)
Willingness to travel nationally and internationally (up to 20%), including weekends
Fluent English skills with an aptitude for effective communication at all levels
Experience in project management
