The Search Operations team aims to improve search user experience, contribute significant DAU impact to the products and drive for increase in traffic and GMV.
The Search Ads team focuses on improving advertisement revenue through several strategies. This team explores ways to deliver innovative, intelligent, and trustworthy search marketing tools to advertisers and facilitate healthy business growth.
It is possible that this role will be exposed to harmful content as part of the core role/as part of project/ in response to escalation requests/by chance. This may occur in the form of images, video, and text related to every-day life, but it can also include (but is not limited to) bullying; hate speech; child safety; depictions of harm to self and others, and harm to animals.
What you will be doing:
1. Perform daily operational tasks such as quality inspection, guidelines and process optimization, queue assignment, and handling escalations for the evaluation project.
2. Work closely with stakeholders to stay updated on guideline developments and provide feedback on implementation and execution.
3. Conduct daily audits on an internal system and provide error analysis and feedback to stakeholders (R&D & Product Manager).
4. Monitor the quality scores of evaluators and conduct root cause analysis with the management team.
5. Monitor project data, record daily output and quality scores, prepare data analysis/reports for projects, and validate reports and data provided to stakeholders/partners.
6. Localize the guidelines and design training schedules and coordinate and liaise with key stakeholders to ensure the successful go-live within the targeted timeframe.
7. Deliver process/product/guideline training to new joiners. Play a role in setting up product knowledge tests, sharing result analysis, and working with key stakeholders to improve the product knowledge of the team.
8. Able to work with sensitive content including but not limited to child exploitation, diverse religious and political perspectives, violence, and adult/sexual content. (Not frequent)
9. Undertake any additional responsibilities that are not specifically listed above.
Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications
1. Bachelor's Degree or equivalent education/experience.
2. Work experience in search engines and social media platforms; Former experience in Search relevant business.
3. Experience in cross functional work and stakeholder management.
4. Strong analytical skills including data analytics, learning ability, problem-solving skills, adaptability and attention to detail. QA experience is an advantage
Preferred Qualifications
1. Exposed to Trend and Pop Culture landscape (through social media)
2. Experience in project management, project operation, or familiarity with users' Internet usage habits.
3. Overseas working or training experience is advantageous, with experience working in multi-cultural and diverse teams.
4. An in-depth understanding of the culture and familiarity with the internet usage habits of their users.
5. Comfortable with and understanding that the job requires reviewing internet content that may be deemed inappropriate and / or contain explicit materials.
6. Strong understanding of advertisement platforms & types, customer journeys and localization challenges.
