What you will do You will work at the intersection of paid media, engineering, and privacy to strengthen Klarna’s Ad Tech and measurement foundations. In this position, you will partner closely with Paid Media teams to enable effective campaign optimisation through reliable tracking, high-quality signals, and scalable measurement solutions. You will own and evolve measurement setups, ensure implementations are technically sound and compliant, and act as a bridge between marketing and engineering to solve complex measurement challenges. In practice, you will: • Own and configure Klarna’s measurement and tracking stack, including GA4, Google Tag Manager (client-side and server-side), and server-side event routing • Define clear technical requirements for advertising platform integrations (e.g. Meta CAPI, Google Enhanced Conversions) to enable accurate measurement and optimisation • Validate and debug implementations end-to-end, ensuring events, payloads, and signals meet platform requirements • Ensure consent-aware tracking is correctly implemented and enforced across markets in line with privacy requirements • Act as a technical counterpart to engineering teams, translating marketing needs into precise and implementable specifications • Improve measurement clarity for Paid Media teams by defining what is measurable, reliable, and where limitations exist • Identify gaps in tracking and signal quality, and drive pragmatic improvements or workarounds Who you are • 4–7+ years of experience in Ad Tech, MarTech, measurement, or related marketing technology positions • Proven hands-on experience with tools such as Google Analytics (GA4), Google Tag Manager (client-side and server-side), and server-side event tracking • Strong understanding of paid media measurement, attribution, and optimisation requirements • Experience working closely with engineers and translating business needs into technical implementations • Solid understanding of privacy, consent management, and operating in regulated environments such as GDPR • Ability to work operationally with data, diagnose issues, and improve signal quality without reliance on a dedicated analyst • Experience with advertising platform integrations such as Google Ads or Meta Ads, including features like Enhanced Conversions or Conversions API Awesome to have • Experience with mobile measurement and attribution (e.g. AppsFlyer or similar MMPs) • Background in high-growth digital environments such as fintech, e-commerce, marketplaces, or gaming • Experience with first-party data activation or CDPs • Familiarity with incrementality testing or ROI measurement approaches • Ability to simplify complex Ad Tech concepts for non-technical stakeholders Please include a CV in English Curious to learn more about Klarna and what it’s like to work here?
