Accountant

Mayflower is a technology company that alters the entertainment industry to a new level of perception and engagement.
Now we look for an Accountant to join our Accounting team.
Job Responsibilities
Record daily financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries;
Perform Accounts Reconciliations (Customers, Vendors, Bank, eWallets, Payment Processors) for a large volume of data;
Create and manage invoices, monitor outstanding payments, and follow up on overdue accounts;
Preparation and analysis of monthly management reports (income statements and balance sheets);
Preparation and submission of VAT (OSS, VIES) and other VAT declarations;
Coordinate with auditors for year-end audits, providing necessary documentation;
Keeping proper books of account and financial records in the Accounting Software.

Bachelor’s in accounting and finance, Economics or another related field
ACA/ACCA qualified or partly qualified will be considered an advantage
Minimum 4+ years of relevant work experience in Accounting/Audit is essential
Strong knowledge of IFRS
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially excel) and experience working with big data reconciliations
Experience with payment processors and transaction reconciliation will be considered an advantage
Knowledge of VAT will be considered an advantage
Knowledge of Microsoft Business Central 365 software will be considered an advantage;
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work in a team
Proficient in Greek and English (Written & Spoken)
